C. verticillata can be found in ruderal areas and is seen growing with Chamaesyce hyssopifolia (FSU Herbarium).
Phenology
Has been seen flowering in September (FSU Herbarium).

The following Hymenoptera families and species were observed visiting flowers of Condea verticillata at Archbold Biological Station (Deyrup 2015):

Colletidae: Colletes mandibularis, C. thysanellae
