Synonym: Hyptis verticillata Jacquin

Varieties: none





C. verticillata can be found in ruderal areas and is seen growing with Chamaesyce hyssopifolia.[1]


Has been seen flowering in September.[1]

Apidae: Apis mellifera, Bombus impatiens

Colletidae: Colletes mandibularis, C. thysanellae

Halictidae: Augochlora pura, Augochlorella aurata, Augochloropsis metallica, Lasioglossum pectoralis

Leucospididae: Leucospis robertsoni, L. slossonae

Megachilidae: Coelioxys dolichos, Heriades leavitti

Pompilidae: Episyron conterminus posterus

Sphecidae: Anacrabro ocellatus, Bicyrtes quadrifasciata, Philanthus ventilabris, Prionyx thomae

Vespidae: Pachodynerus erynnis, P. nasidens, Vespula squamosa
