Habitat
L. bicolor prefers areas with disturbed soil in communities such as live oak-loblolly pine forests, longleaf pine sandhills, and annually burned pinewoods. It is also found along forest edges, roadsides, and in fields. L. bicolor can grow in a wide variety of soil types, but often in open, fully lit spaces.[2]
