Distribution
C. laxum can be found along the southeastern coast from Texas to New York. [1]
Ecology
Habitat
C. laxum can be found in savanna-pocosin ecotones, sandhill-pocosin ecotones, moist hardwood swamps, and other moist habitats. [2]
