Description

Common names: Pinewoods Bluestem

Flowers in the fall (Wunderlin and Hansen 2003). Is a perennial (Hall 1978).

It is found in moist, sunny, low grass-sedge clearings. It is found in open pine flatwood and savanna communities.[1]
