Anemone virginiana Linnaeus var. virginiana.[1] Varieties: Weakley states that Anemone virginiana Linnaeus var. alba (Oakes) Alph. Wood. "might be expected in n. VA, especially in river scour situations," but the Flora of Virginia does not list var. alba.[2]
