Biography
Katelin Stanley is originally a native of the Pacific Northwest, where she first discovered and pursued her passion for plants. She gained early skills in botany from undergraduate courses and volunteering at the Hoyt Arboretum and Herbarium in Portland, Oregon; however, like many botanists, she is largely self-taught. She is currently a PhD student in Ecology and Evolution at the Florida State University with a research focus in plant systematics. Her free time is often spent botanizing, hiking, and photographing nature.
