Description
Common names: Carolina Milkweed
Distribution
This species is found in southeast North Carolina, south to the northern peninsula of Florida, and west within the pandhandle (Weakley 2015).
Ecology
Habitat
Is found in pine savannas (Weakley 2015) and sandhills, flatwoods, and bogs (Wunderlin and Hansen 2011).
Phenology
Flowers from June to July (Weakley 2015). Flowers from spring to summer (Wunderlin and Hansen 2011).
