Ecology
Habitat
In the Coastal Plain in Florida, P. robusta can occur in sandy old fields, sand dunes, and xeric oak/saw palmetto scrubs (FSU Herbarium). Associated species include saw palmetto and scrub oak (FSU Herbarium).
