Distribution
Ecology
Habitat
In the Coastal Plain in Florida, P. chartacea has been found in sand pine scrubs with Hypericum cumulicola (FSU Herbarium). Associated species include Tephrosia, Polanisia, and Hypericum (FSU Herbarium).
Phenology
Flowers August through November and fruits in October (FSU Herbarium).

Halictidae: Lasioglossum miniatulus, L. nymphalis, L. placidensis

Sphecidae: Tachysphex apicalis, T. similis
Vespidae: Leptochilus krombeini, Parancistrocerus salcularis rufulus
