Habitat
This species can be found in pine-oak woods and loamy sand in oak-hickory on upper slopes of steepheads in shaded areas (FSU Herbarium). It also can be found in areas of human disturbance such as on the edges of trails and slopes of impoundment (FSU Herbarium).
Phenology
This species has been observed flowering in September and fruiting from September to October (FSU Herbarium).
