In the Coastal Plain in Florida, ''E. quercifolius'' can be found in wetland depressions, wet pinelands, dry turkey-oak pinelands, pine flatwoods, and peaty soils of cypress-gum swamps. Distribution

Erigeron quercifolius exists across the southeastern Coastal Plain region, but is primarily found in peninsular Florida with disjunct populations in the Bahamas.[4]

Phenology
